This month, Meridien Modena had the pleasure of hosting our exclusive French Driving Tour - an unforgettable adventure that showcased a remarkable line-up of Ferrari models, including the Purosangue, 812 GTS, 488 Spider, 488 Pista, Roma Spider, F12 Berlinetta, F12 TDF, 599 GTB Fiorano, SF90 Stradale and Portofino.
The experience began at the charming Champneys Spa – Eastwell Manor, where our guests gathered for a relaxing evening and dinner hosted in the Bishop of Bayeux suite.
An early rise the following morning, our group set off for the channel crossing, marking the start of our journey through France.
Our first drive on French soil followed a picturesque coastal route, leading us to La Ferme Du Vert, a charming countryside hotel where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. From there, our group travelled further south to seaside town, Le Touquet for our second night, staying at the elegant Mercure Hotel.
The following morning, saw us embark on a long westward drive towards our next destination, Champagne. We stopped for lunch midway at Le Moulin des Ecrevisses, a stunning waterside estate offering exquisite local cuisine.
As we continued to journey through the picturesque French countryside, we arrived at the Loisium Hotel in Champagne. This beautiful and stylish hotel is situated atop a hill, offering breath-taking views of the surrounding vineyards, making it an ideal venue for our final dinner. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal featuring local delicacies from the Reims region, providing a perfect culinary experience to conclude our adventure.
For our last day, we journeyed to iconic champagne house, Vranken Pommery, in Reims. A private tour allowed us to immerse ourselves in France’s rich winemaking heritage as we explored the historic champagne caves, complimented by a delicious tasting, which showcased Vranken Pommery’s renowned offerings.
The final leg of our journey brought us to the iconic Circuit de Reims-Gueux, where we paused for a memorable photo opportunity featuring our stunning line-up of Ferrari models, before heading back toward Calais, making a final stop for lunch at L’Andalou, a charming restaurant nestled in the quaint village of Malincourt.
As our tour came to a close, we took a moment to reflect on the incredible days spent driving through the breath-taking landscapes of France. From cruising through winding hills, to quaint small villages, the French open roads truly allowed us to celebrate the essence of Ferrari.
