A look back at 2022

 
To kick off the new year, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to look back on 2022!

To start us off we saw the launch of the 296 GTB & GTS – The stunning V6’s most noticeable difference being the foldable hard top roof, which can be retracted in 14 seconds and up to 28 mph. Ferrari didn’t change much more with just a few tweaks to the interior. But why would you change perfection? A super punchy 3.0 litre V6 Hybrid engine which kicks out 818bhp and a 0-60 speed of 2.9 seconds! What a fantastic start to the year.

Then onto the Purosangue, and oh boy, what a car this is. Ferrari has fulfilled everyone’s desires by producing another incredible V12 engine, however this time in a slightly different package. Ferrari’s first ever 4 door – 4 seater, as they say it is indeed ‘unlike any other car’. “You can use the car off road, but it’s not a Jeep.” said Gianmaria Fulgenzi, Ferrari’s Chief Product Development Officer. The Purosangue has the highest road clearance of any other Ferrari, which not only produces ultimate driving and road comfort but of course it does it in style. The 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 with 715bhp is sure to be a head turner as soon as we see it hit our roads.  

With those two huge starts to the year we carried on with far more events to see us through…

February – 296 GTB Static show with test drives.

May – Millbrook – 296 GTB test drives, Fiorano 296 test drives, Goodwood Kennels breakfast meet, Verano SF90 test drives.

June – London 296 GT Launch, Goodwood Festival of Speed.

July – Millbrook test drives.

September -  Saw the start of the UK challenge driving – Silverstone & Brands hatch .

November – 296 GTS Static event at the showroom.

December – Purosangue launch at Olympia, London.

Wow, what a year we’ve had here at Meridien Modena. We have loved every minute of welcoming all our wonderful clients back, catching up and enjoying all the new things Ferrari have had to offer. We want to continue the fun into and all the way through 2023. We have lots of events planned this year such as road and track test drives, breakfast mornings and showroom events.
